SonicStacker started with a simple question: what if the barrier between having an idea for a song and actually hearing it was just a conversation?
How it started
A friend's anniversary was coming up. He had this whole story -- how they met at a coffee shop, the terrible joke he told, the song that was playing on the radio when she said yes. He wanted to turn it into an actual song. Not a poem. Not a playlist. A real, original song that sounded like it belonged on the radio.
The options were... not great. Hire a musician (weeks, hundreds of dollars, and you're still hoping they capture the feeling). Learn production software (sure, in your spare time). Use a generic AI tool and get something that sounds like elevator music.
